jules sylvester had to give one of his cockroach performers, “loose bruce,” a break - because it got too cold! It was so cold that our cockroach performers couldn’t be outside for more than a couple seconds at a time without freezing to a halt. “loose bruce” is what jules calls the roaches that don’t have “leashes,” and “leashes” are what jules calls the tiny pieces of thread that have been taped to some of the cockroach performers to make them easier to direct!
